What to expect from working at MCL
As part of our team you will collaborate with leading Belgian and international companies across different industries. You will co-develop strategic solutions that are creative, customized to the needs of the client and ready-to-implement. We work on a peer-to-peer basis with our clients and we are always focus on creating added value for them. For us, this starts with building a strategic vision, which we then realize through a guided learning process.

Your role as a junior consultant
As a Junior Consultant you will work on projects from the day you start. This means you will meet with the client regularly, and you get in touch with all aspects of a company’s environment. This way you have the possibility to learn quickly on-the-job, of course always with sufficient support from more experienced colleagues. At MCL, you will not only contribute in the projects you work on, but you will also be involved in the development of the company. As a junior consultant, you will be invited to participate in networking events and methodology development. It is also valued to come up with your own initiatives. That’s why an entrepreneurial spirit is a must!
Your career path within MCL
At MCL you have the possibility to grow in line with your personal ambitions and potential. You will set your own pace in your career. As an university graduate, you always start as a Junior consultant. After gaining sufficient experience (typically 2 to 3 years), the next step in your career will be the role Project Manager. Depending on your development, and following several years as a Project Manager (on average 5-6 years), you will become Project Leader. The last step in the career chain at MCL is partner (on average after 8-10 years). Everyone has the opportunity to become Partner at MCL. We recruit for the long term and hire only the people, we assume, who have the potential to get this far.

Personal and professional development
Your personal growth is of the utmost importance to us.At MCL, you are trained on the job by experienced consultants and project leaders, inside and outside your project team. Out-of-the-box thinking is stimulated on a daily basis. On top of this, you will be offered personal trainings, in line with your needs.
Also, MCL organises an internal seminar twice a year, dedicated to team building and further development of soft (e.g. leadership style) and hard skills (e.g. methodology) of the team.
